Air Personality

CITADEL MEDIA (formerly ABC Radio Networks), Dallas, TX
Evening Air Personality on live 24-hour AC network format. Hosted 7pm-12m CT show (8pm-1am ET/5pm-10pm PT) as well as a Saturday afternoon show. Night show included hosting the popular LOVE NOTES, REQUESTS AND DEDICATIONS heard on well over 100 commercial radio stations throughout the U.S. and the Caribbean.

Have handled multiple remote broadcasts from Disney World and Universal Studios, Florida. And interviewed celebrities including Joe Cocker, Gilbert Gottfried, and Mickey and Minnie!

On original staff of five ABC Radio Network announcers to launch ABC's LocalMax premium voice tracking service in test market Peoria, Illinois. And was a regular voice-track announcer for KISS-FM Guatemala ("The Real American Radio") and KLAK-FM (McKinney, TX) from Dallas studios until Network no longer offered that service.

Was National Webmaster for the format's website (HitsAndFavorites.com), inserting unique content and coding and assisting local station webmasters who customize their sites. Previously redesigned the AC Networks' secure affiliate information website that provided updated programming and technical information for AC affiliates.

I created a unique Daily Game contest that kept listeners coming back to our site day after day (and often gave us the highest "stickiness" stats of any Citadel Network site). And I created a "Black Friday" web promotion that in a single day nearly brought as many page hits as in one month.

New media experience also included editing and uploading podcast features and mobile/texting administration for our format. I was personally responsible for writing, scheduling, and sending unique text content that resulted in tens of thousands of text impressions to listeners. I worked closely with provider mSnap to implement my idea of national listeners simply "texting their area code" to get local content text blasts. They did not have a method of texting targeted local information to nationwide listeners at that point, and mSnap offered that coding method to other clients.

Part of a mass layoff of Citadel employees, entire fulltime AC staff in the Dallas building.
